Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 2026
TRY Health LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TRY Fitness mobile application ("App"), a subscription-based fitness tracking platform that also lets independent coaches work with their own clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App:
We do not sell your personal data.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Below is a summary of these services and their roles:
3. Sharing With Your Coach
TRY Fitness offers an optional Coach feature. If a coach adds you and you do not revoke the link, you authorize us to share your personal data with that coach, and you grant the coach the ability to view and manage it.
The data shared with a linked coach includes:
- Your workout and training history (exercises, sets, reps, weights, personal records).
- Your programs and training plans.
- Your nutrition logs and calorie/macro data.
- Your profile and body metrics (e.g., body weight, goals, experience level).
- Your progress and adherence statistics derived from the above.
This sharing occurs only while an active coach link exists. You can revoke a coach's access at any time from your Profile, which immediately ends their ability to view or manage your data going forward. Coaches are independent third parties — not TRY Health LLC — and you are responsible for choosing who coaches you. We share this data solely to provide the coaching service you have authorized, and we do not sell it. Because a Coach is an independent third party, when a Coach accesses your data the Coach acts as an independent controller of that data and is responsible for their own compliance with applicable data-protection laws; TRY Health LLC is not responsible for how a Coach handles your data outside the App. When you revoke a Coach's access, the Coach must stop using your data and must not keep copies outside the App.
4. Log Data & Device Information
When you use our App, in the event of an error or for analytical purposes, we may collect Log Data. This may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App, the time and date of your use, and other diagnostic statistics. This data is used solely to improve App stability and performance.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. Specifically:
- Account & fitness data: Retained for the lifetime of your account. Deleted upon account deletion request.
- AI interaction data: Prompts sent to AI providers are not stored by us after the response is received. Third-party AI providers may retain data per their own policies.
- Subscription data: Transaction records may be retained as required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., dispute resolution).
- Log data: Retained for up to 90 days for diagnostic purposes, then automatically deleted.
6. Your Data Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You can view your personal data at any time within the App (Profile and Settings screens).
- Correction: You can update your profile information directly in the App.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the App under Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your workout logs, templates, custom items, nutrition data, and profile details will be permanently removed from our active databases.
- Data Export: You may request an export of your personal data by contacting us at support@tryhealth.io.
- Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account, though this will terminate your access to the App.
- Email Preferences: Optional training emails can be switched off at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email, or at tryhealth.io/unsubscribe. Essential account emails — coach invitations, billing, and notices about your account — continue regardless, because they are part of providing the service.
To exercise any of these rights, you can use the in-app features or contact us at support@tryhealth.io.
7. Children's Privacy
TRY Fitness is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@tryhealth.io. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
8. GDPR Rights (European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to Restriction: Request restriction of processing of your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability: Request transfer of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
Our legal basis for processing your data includes: performance of a contract (providing the App's services), your consent (for AI features and optional data collection), and legitimate interests (improving and securing the App). To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tryhealth.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. CCPA/CPRA Rights (California Users)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You can request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We never sell your personal information, and we never share anything from inside the App for advertising. On our public website only, the Meta Pixel described in Section 2 sends Meta limited browsing information — your IP address, browser type, and which page you viewed — for advertising purposes, which California law treats as "sharing." You can opt out at any time, and you do not have to ask us first: we honor the Global Privacy Control signal automatically, so if your browser or a privacy extension sends it, the pixel never loads. Blocking third-party trackers in your browser has the same effect. You can also email support@tryhealth.io to request that we stop.
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@tryhealth.io or use the in-app account deletion feature. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days.
10. Security
We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and we employ commercially reasonable measures to protect it, including:
- Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, ensuring users can only access their own data — except data a user explicitly shares with a coach (see "Sharing With Your Coach").
- Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS/TLS.
- Secure authentication managed through Supabase Auth.
- Regular security reviews and updates.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
12. Contact Us
